The Department of Information Technology (DoIT) awarded Comtech, LLC an IDIQ/MAIQ information technology (IT) consulting and technical
services contract for the State of Maryland. The Master Contract will provide State agencies with the flexibility of obtaining IT
resources quickly and efficiently by issuing Task Order Requests for Proposals (TORFP) or Requests for Resumes (RFR) specific to its needs.
The CATS II Master Contract will run concurrently with the existing Consulting and Technical Services (CATS I) Master Contract, and will
replace it upon its expiration date of December 31, 2010. During the remaining term of CATS I, CATS II will be used only if it is not
reasonably anticipated that a TORFP will be completed by the CATS I contract expiration date.
The scope of this solicitation encompasses 17 primary functional areas. The functional areas are as follows:
- Functional Area 1 -Enterprise Service Provider
- Functional Area 2 -Web and Internet Services
- Functional Area 3 -Electronic Document Management
- Functional Area 5 -Software Engineering
- Functional Area 6 -Systems/Facilities Management and Maintenance
- Functional Area 7 -Information System Security
- Functional Area 16 -Media and Training Center Support
- Functional Area 17 -Documentation/Technical Writing
