MESSAGING & COLLABORATION
Comtech’s general mastery and experience in the Messaging and Collaboration services expand
the value of enterprise messaging to keep the line of communication open to increase productivity.
Comtech has been an active participant with a Federal Agency’s management and engineers in the
design, implementation and support of their National Information Infrastructure. Comtech Engineers
has been handling all aspects of the Lotus Notes/Domino Groupware Infrastructure and Microsoft Exchange
which includes but not limited to:
- Single-Sign-On
Comtech successfully designed a Meta Directory solution that provides password synchronization
between the multiple passwords facilitating use of a single password to access all applications.
- Web SSO configuration
Comtech engineered a single sign on solution for web based applications that allowed Web users
to log in once to a Domino server, and then access any other Domino servers in the same DNS domain that
are enabled for single sign-on (SSO) without having to log in again.

Email Firewall
Comtech currently manages Enterprise Email Firewall servers. The Email Firewall servers are responsible
for handling all Internet email to and from the customer’s email infrastructure.

Spam Filtering
Comtech engineers have integrated Anti-spam software for Federal Agencies.

Mail and Voice Over IP
With Comtech’s extensive knowledge in the Voice over IP technology and Messaging, we have integrated
voice mail and messaging systems giving users the ability to access, manage, and reply to all their messages
from any PC or a phone device, generate voice mail messages as email attachments, and listen to email messages
over a telephone.
