The Naval Program of Record (POR) is a directed and funded acquisition program that is managed and updated using SAP (Systems application and products) Enterprise Resource Planning software. The Naval POR is used to address new, improved, or continuing material, weapon, or information system or service capability in response to an approved need. The requirements include providing integrated system sustainment and infrastructure upgrade support services.

Customer Solution

The Comtech team provides POR system support and sustainment of the Navy’s ERP enterprise business solution, which includes the implementation of additional functionality and further implementation of the solution through Q/A testing, Software Development, Basis, ABAP (advanced business application programming) development, and other SAP functional components including Help desk support and training. Comtech’s Navy ERP SAP subject matter experts, and FI/CO/MM module technical consultants provided direct functional and technical support to facilitate a successful implementation of enhancements to the Naval ERP processes across the POR enterprise. Supported SAP ERP with POR interfaces with 50 external automated systems to exchange acquisition, financial, manpower, personnel, and logistics data.
